OMG! I'm Now 24


Of course I had to make it all about my birthday. If you forgot it was yesterday. Anyway, thank you next... It wouldn't have been special without everyone who went out of their way. Amongst other presents, here are some wise words, a whole personal birthday letter for me. Imagine!

They say the best stories are told from the start and they come with an interesting middle part and a somewhat glorious end

Well the start is long past now and the only memory that remains of it is it's date

You've come a long way since then, I know people often say this but for you it's truer than most

While the start is distant the middle part is quite near and the end, well the end is still far from sight

It's also said the middle contains all the glorious stories

The tales of epic romance

The tales of late night mischief

The memories lost to alcohol altered states and other things

The pictures taken but we'd rather forget

The tales we'll tell our grandchildren to remind them there's nothing new under the sun


So today comes as the end of one chapter and the beginning of another

How many chapters your book is going to have no one knows

But I'm glad to have been a part of this one

Let me just take this moment to wish you a happy birthday beautiful

May the smiles be plenty and the tears rare

May all the dreams you have ring true in the coming year

📸the.photographers.official  I’m a girl who has always been one of the guys, but also very much a girl; I don't really blend perfectly into either sides. Sounds familiar? Welcome to the club. I remember growing up, I would pick soccer or wrestling over playing with dolls. Hanging with the guys over girls. I still choose sweat pants and t-shirts over dresses. It’s apparently thought as unladylike in most parts of the world or rather a glorified brainwash to instil gender roles. 📷 Hulst Wilson It was a summer morning the smell of the fresh coffee brewing filled the air – the chill breeze and the scent of the clean-shaven glass. The shrieking clock slapped me back to reality, it was time to begin adulting. For so long I was living with my parents and feeding off them. The day has dawned for me to journey into a land of no hope – job hunting ! It had become known that jobs were for the privileged and the well-connected fellas.
